Colin McCaffrey's third solo CD Tired Of Town is a vintage sounding record with covers of classic old tunes by Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Fats Waller, as well as the bluesy title cut and 3 other new originals. Also included are a cover of Pete Sutherland's Wilderness Road and Lewis Franco's September Son. Colin recorded this one the old fashioned way: live with vocals and guitar at the same time. This is an original 34 minute
piece written for the Spring 2003 Moving Light Dance Company production
of a Falomi and Malula: a Sudanese folktale about an orphaned girl raised
by a lioness. The music is inspired by African rhythms and textures, and
is played on Violin, Viola, Mandolin, Mandola, Guitar, Bass, and Recorder.

This is an original 55 minute
piece written for the Spring 2004 Moving Light Dance Company production
of The Fiddler and The Pookah: an adaptation of an Irish fairytale
about a young fiddler who is captured by a Pookah and taken to play music
for the fairies. Colin enlists the help of master fiddler Sarah Blair
and Flutist/pennywhistler Patti Casey. and is played on Violin, Viola,
Mandolin, Mandola, Guitar, Bass, and Recorder.
